Greene County had the highest job growth in New York State for 2014! — January 26, 2015

Job numbers from the NYS Department of Labor showed a 500-job increase in Greene County during the month of December 2014 as compared with December 2013. This translates into 3.4% growth for the county, by far the highest growth percentage for a county in New York State in December, and up from the 3.1% growth reported back in November 2014.

Bridge Street Theatre A New Performing Arts Venue — October 28, 2014

Bridge Street Theatre is a non-profit corporation which purchased a factory building at 44 West Bridge Street in Catskill, NY. They converted the building into a 72-seat theater, which will house productions by their company, Kaliyuga Arts.
