Judi Ryan has dedicated her life to family. Her 35 year marriage to husband Mike has graced her with 9 children and 2 grandchildren (so far) and it is her passion to insure their holistic health through the best available vitamins, herbs, and lifestyle choices. Her business, Stirred Water Herbs provides that same great insight, empathy, and products to enable us all to treat ourselves naturally, with out it costing an arm and a leg.
Judi was raised knowing very little about herbs or natural healthcare, but as her children grew, and had continual health issues, it got to the point where the family went to the medical doctor at least once a week. Driven by the knowledge that God had to have a purpose for the things that grow around us, she began her journey in Naturopathy.
Naturopathy is based on the belief that the human body is designed with the ability to heal itself, if it is given the appropriate internal and external environment. Stirred Water Herbs is here to help us create that environment and take control of our health.
Entering her facility at 50 Old Durham Highway in Acra, you are immediately immersed in a wide range of aromatic herbs, and products and services designed to cleanse the system, heal it, and set it on a path to healthier living. The name of the business actually comes from a story in the bible about a pool of cleansing water that was stirred by an angel and washed away sickness and ill health from those who entered it.
On September 11th, 2024, the Invest Greene team was joined by Legislators Harry Lennon, Sherry True, and Matt Luvera along with Beth Stewart from the GC Chamber of Commerce to officially present a MULTI Grant award to Stirred Water Herbs. This reimbursement grant administered by the Greene County Economic Development Corporation enabled Judi’s investment in a state-of-the-art Oxygen Bar. The Ryan family hosted everyone with a wonderful spread of tasty and nutritious treats, and even offered free Oxygen Bar treatments!
Judi also used her MULTI Grant award to expand her ability to provide clients with Iridology services – an alternative medicine technique of looking at patterns, colors and characteristics of the iris to help determine information concerning systemic health.
Other services available at Stirred Water Herbs include: Ion Cleanse Foot Detoxification, Hormone Testing, Lyme Disease Symptom Relief, and Children’s Health Services.
